Activities of Daily Living (ADL) DocumentariesAn ADL documentary can demonstrate the damages a plaintiff has sustained due to an injury, and its consequential impact on his or her life. It is, according to the American Guild of Court Videographers, "the best form of evidence a jury has" to determine damages. It demonstrates the physical, emotional and financial challenges your client deals with on a day to day basis as a result of the incident. These videos are often the best way to present compelling evidence to a mediator, arbitrator, defendant, insurance company and/or a jury about how your client's life has been impacted by the harm that gave rise to the litigation.
We work closely with attorneys and their clients to evaluate the needs of the presentation. This allows us to develop a detailed production plan that ensures that all essential elements of the plaintiff's story will be told in an effective manner. We will document your client's life through home healthcare, therapy, hospital stays, physical rehab and wherever necessary to produce the most effective and compelling documentary.
LVC understands that it is equally important to portray the plaintiff's condition in an honest, accurate and objective manner, in order to ensure admissibility in a court of law. We understand the importance of letting the injury and its impact speak for itself.
