Before/During/After Construction Services

Construction-Related Videography has become an increasingly popular method of providing visual proof of the status of an area prior to construction or during the progress of construction. Construction firms that perform major projects are using video to document the condition of the neighborhood and/or existing property before, during and after the construction process.

The potential causes of construction litigation are vast and the end result is typically expensive for the party being sued. The easiest and most efficient way to avoid frivolous or unwarranted suits is to video before and/or after each significant phase of the construction project. Video surveys of construction sites shot by a disinterested third party trained in legal video serves as effective and inexpensive insurance against what otherwise might be prolonged and costly litigation.

LVC provides video documentation of all critical elements of the construction process. The video is properly time/date stamped for admittance in a court of law. Upon completion, we provide a notarized statement and a signed certificate of precisely what was videotaped, and when. Since we are recognized (for court purposes) as a disinterested third party, the video documentation carries powerful weight in court to validate your client's position.

Various Phases of Construction Documentation

Pre-Construction Jobsite Conference: Videotaping involves all key people on the jobsite before any construction has started; for the purpose of assigning responsibilities , scheduling, chain of command, coordinating and creating a permanent record.

Pre-Construction Video Surveys: These video documents are produced prior to any equipment arriving on a site. They will show all pre-construction conditions including all defects, faults or fractures there to the immediate or surrounding area of the proposed project.

Progress Documentation: Periodic video documentation of your project as it progresses.

Post Documentation: Documents in its entirety, the completed constuction project and surrounding area adjacent to it. Documents the condition of all other work completed.

Demolition Documentation: Involves creating a video document before, during and after the demolition for your permanent records.
